FC2: Logitech wireless keyboard/mouseproblems
I have been running PS/2 keyboard and mouse through a Dell KVM for quite some time with no problems on Fedora Core 2. I recently replaced them with a logitech cordless keyboard and mouse.
When I boot into the 2.6.5 kernel the only things wrong are the mouse wheel will not scroll up (down works) and the keyboard's space key acts strange(sometimes a space wont register, other times spaces appear on their own, as if I were holding down the space bar ).
When I boot into the 2.6.6 kernel the mouse doesn't work at all (jumps around the screen ).
Here's my xorg.conf:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse0"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" " imps/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "no"
EndSection
I've tried changing the protocol to logitech & ps/2.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Did you ever get an aswer to your Fedora Core 2 wheel mouse problem. I have the same problem with Fedora 2 and now 3. It is very annoying as the mouse wheel scrolls down but not up. When I scroll up a pop up window appears with a bunch of options like "back", "select all" etc.

the answer lies in your kernel config ... u have to build in the module for your mouse and then recompile your kernel
