Failed discovery of a Bluetooth-enabled headset on a Ubuntu 12.10 netbook
Hello.
I'm having an issue with pairing my Bluetooth headset to my netbook, which has a USB Bluetooth adapter. No error messages are given: when both devices are searching for another with which to pair, they both simply time out. The Bluetooth adapter works fine on trial with other devices. This problem was not present in a version of Ubuntu released last year. Could you suggest any means by which to diagnose and correct the issue? Thank you. |
The device in question is now working correctly after effecting (a somewhat messy) fix by blacklisting `pegasus` in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.
