Extigy Soundcard Woes

Hi,

I have gotten sound up and running with my Extigy soundcard. And, for some reason, it doesn't do the thing where it *skips/a/beat* every two minutes or so like it used to do under

F****** WINDOWS XP G**DAMMIT!

Ok, I've vented.

It was worth the difficult install to have it working now. However, I have a bunch of weird tabs under the Redhat 9 Volume Control mixer.

All five tabs read "USB_Audio_Class_Driver."

The first tab has vol and pcm sliders.
The next four all have vol, bass, treble, pcm, line, and mic; respectively.

All five sliders control the amplification of sound- by using the pcm or line slider. Bass and treble also are working great =].

How can I get rid of the extraneous tabs and also get Vol to control the overall sound level??

Any ideas??

Thanks,

N*

Seems like maybe I installed it five times before it started working and that could explain all the extra tabs...

How to delete them??
