External USB disk 160GB

Hello,

I have a problem with an external USB disk (/dev/sda). With my old 10GB disk this device works very well. However with my new 160GB there is a problem. With windows 2k i can see the full 160GB (so the device works) but with Linux (suse 8.1) i only see about 9GB. With fdisk /dev/sda i can see the partion table windows has written on it. But fdisk reports not the right amount of tracks.

What is the solution for this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Lume

Problem solved! Solution was to reboot the system.... Perhaps some loadable modules did not load correctly.
