External EXT3 HDD, trying to open in Windows Server 2k3

I've got a usb external enclosure for my laptop HDD and plugged it into my bosses server at work running MS Windows Server 2k3. It reads it as an unknown USB device....I'm confused by this....if XP can read this automatically, as the instructions state....why not Server 2k3?

The partitions are EXT3. Does anyone have any work around or fix for this.

Thnx in advance for the help

Hasta
