external enclosure for hdd

I have just inherited a 120gb hdd (wd1200, if I remember right) and I'd like to run it as an external USB hdd.

My question is, which external enclosure works best with Linux? Specifcally, I'm using Slackware 10.

I saw one by Speeze on newegg.com but don't know anything about it. Any good?

USB2 or firewire

Any USB1.1/2 or firewire case should work,

but you need firewire / usb support in your kernel,
and USB massstorage, scsi harddisks support and the likes.

Then external drives will be visible as SCSI harddisks.

All this has nothing to do with the case brand you ar buying.

Note though that some cases are faster then others,
but if this is not your main interest,
just buy anything you can/want to afford.
