I should note that I had booted from USB on like my computer with this and a bootable USB flash drive inserted and there was only one option to boot from. It works fine as NTFS now. X E.

Interesting the real Vendor information is not shown. Regardless of where you purchased the drive I would be suspicious that it could be a fake or just really really cheap. I would not even use it on my Windows computers.

Should be available in the Ubuntu repositories.

Go buy a name brand or regular disk drive.
