ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad click problems

Hi Linux community,

I have just installed Linux Mint stable on a Asus Rog Laptop.

I have exactly the problem describe there :

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1030802

I tried with the 4.5 version of the kernel but it did not correct this problem.

I use an external mouse instead.

Maybe some of oy uknow how to fix this bug in Linux Mint like they did for Fedora ?

I don't have enough skill for that, i wish i could !

What ROG laptop is it? If it's too new, it might require a much newer kernel to work (or possibly it's not even in the database yet and won't work).

Can you post the output from:
Code:
xinput list
Code:
