Ethernet NIC Card require manually up every time?

My computer has extra NIC card install on PCI slot, which require manually up every time whenever the machine get reboot. for these I have to go with root & up the Ethernet card manually.

Can anyone suggest me any idea that whenever computer boot it automatically up the Ethernet card?

I configure card as "ONBOOT=yes"
but the problem is that it will loose contact whenever it get reboot.

what do you mean by "it will loose contact" ?

I guess you are using fedora, if so, could you paste /etc/sysconfig/network and /etc/sysconfig/ifcfg-* ?

As a workaround, may insert your commands in rc.local.

I solved this issue by inserting these command into a .sh file & I run this file {using launcher} whenever I log in.

Any other option for these?
