Unhappy Ethernet card not working in FC3.. Anybody in the world Who can help me out ..

Hey everybody .

I am just stuck here withno where to go .. I have been trying to find ways to get my ethernet card to work in Fedora core 3 but havent yet found the driver or the way to do so ...

NEED SOME HELP URGENTLY ................ SOS ...

I am using toshiba satellite A 80 . laptop with a marvell yukon fast pci - ethernet controller ... I installed Fedora core 3 as part of my course requirements but have been unsuccessful in gettin it to work . I have called the toshiba service center but they dont seem to have a solution at all ..

Thanks a lot .i am at wits end as i can access the net through the Win Xp . also forgot to tell that i am dual booting it with wiN XP ..

Take care n do reply if Anyone has the solution to my problem ... ...

1) go to `My LQ', 'edit profile' and add your distro. Adding M$ win XP won't hurt, either.

2) read the sticky

3) read

Some probing questions:
Is the driver module for your NIC loaded (read `lsmod`)? If it's a PCI card, read `lspci`. As root, do a `modprobe -l | less', look for whatever seems relevant (I think it's //drivers/net/; in any case grep net and use your head).
