Question Error when trying to install iBurst driver (ib-driver 2.6) on SUSE 9.3

Hi,

I have an iBurst PCMCIA card for wireless internet access and I managed to find a driver for it at Source Forge. At the time I was running Fedora Core 3 and after downloading the driver and following the instructions it worked perfectly :-)

I'm quite new to Linux and I'm still trying to find which distro is best for me. Recently I changed to SUSE 9.3 and I really like it. I installed it on my notebook but I can't seem to even install ib-driver 2.6! When I run "make" I get the following error:

I am running SUSE 9.3 with Kernel linux-2.6.11.4-20a

make -C /lib/modules/2.6.11.4-20a-default/build
SUBDIRS=/home/hmcarthur/iburst-1.2.1/iburst-1.2.1
modules
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.11.4-20a-
obj/i386/default'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `modules'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.11.4-20a-
obj/i386/default'
make: *** [default] Error 2

I don't really understand this error message and what could have gone wrong. The PCMCIA service is running, the lights on my card are on and when I plug-in the card I can see it in /var/log/messages All it seems to need is a driver? My Kernel is linux-2.6.11.4-20a

Any help would be much apreciated, thanks.

Not yet. I have it working on Fedora 3 & 4 but I'm unable to go any further with SUSE. I think it envolves recompiling the kernel and I'm not quite sure where to start.
