Error mounting Ipod

I have a 2gb nano that was until today mounting properely with the ipod icon appearing on the desktop. I right clicked on the icon and changed its mounting point and must have made a typing error as now it says it can no longer mount the device. How can I reset the devices mounting point.

Under Places in the file browser I can still see "Apple Ipod Music Player" however clicking on it only gives the option to mount the device which results in the same error:

Cannot mount volume.
Unable to mount the volume 'MICHAELS IP'
mount_point cannot contain the following characters:
newline, G_DIR_SEPARATOR (usually /)

BTW I am running Ubuntu 7.04 (GNOME)
