Error Message "0.004000 do_irq 1.55 no irq handler for vector"

During an install of opensuse leap 15.0 and a number of other distro's I have tried, the above message flashes across the screen right after exiting the bios on my laptop which is: Toshiba Model C655D-S5300 serial 9B090358Q. The problem seems to be that the current kernel does not support the video chips (AMD Radeon HD6250) on this machine.

Like to know if anyone has run into this issue and can give direction on finding a suitable driver? The install fails on all ditro's I have tried with garbage on the display.

I have an Acer with the exact same AMD Radeon HD6250 card. I also get that message but Linux run great. Currently I'm running Linux Mint. But I've run several different distros on it already.

For what it's worth I've never had good luck with Open Suse. What other distros did you try?

Thanks for your note. Sorry for the late reply
but I have been traveling.

Correcting my post, I have a Toshiba laptop with an AMD Dual Core C-50
processor that has an AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics capability.

Responding to your questions, I have tried to install all ubuntu back to 14.04
all mint from present ba<ck two years, Free BSD, Suse 14.3 an 15.01 without success.
They all fail due to graphics issues part way through the install. Have been unable to find
a workable graphics package.

As far as suse experince goes, I have been using these for at least 15 years
with some but minimal problems.

So can you live boot to a gui desktop? Maybe you need to try a distro like antiX or puppy that runs live with a save file ;)

I don't know anything about that particular card, so I guess I'm out :)
