Exclamation error - Cannot find TOCBLOCK, database may be corrupt

I've never seen this error before..... It comes up at the top of the screen like this during boot:

ldm_parse_tockblock(): Cannot find TOCBLOCK, database may be corrupt
ldm_parse_tockblock(): Cannot find TOCBLOCK, database may be corrupt

This occurs right after I select the kernel boot entry in grub2, and it only occurs with kernels 5.x (5.0.7) and higher - Does not do this with 4.x kernels.

Computer boots fine after this, and I do not notice anything wrong. The error only shows on the screen for about 1 second.

I found this info on TOCBLOCK....

https://flatcap.org/linux-ntfs/ldm/t.../tocblock.html

What kind of issue is this? Is there something I can do to correct this? Why does it only occur on Kernels > 5.x?

I'm running PCLINUXOS distro with all current 2019 package updates, and KDE Plasma 5.

is there a problem with that kernel version, apart from the errors you're seeing?
is that the current version supported by your distro?

None that I see.

[gregg@localhost ~]$ uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 5.1.3-pclos1 #1 SMP Thu May 16 19:21:57 CDT 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Don't think anyone on the PCLINUXOS forum is aware of what this problem might be - hence my query here. My kernel version is from the distro - load it from the synaptic package manager. The two 5.x versions I've tried.... 5.0.7, and 5.1.3 have the error. But the 4.x versions do not.
