Epson Stylus SX130 - Stalled Printing
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS is the linux I am running just as a heads up. I downloaded the drivers for this printer (actually ubuntu found them when I originally tried to set it up, I then downloaded it manually, seems to be the same file - Epson Stylus SX130 Series - epson-inkjet-printer 1.0.0-1lsb3.2 (Seiko Epson Corporation LSB 3.2)). Went through cups admin interface on localhost selected all the right drivers etc but printing the test page never works; it just hangs on either "pending" or "processing". I also tried setting it up through the printing graphical interface and still no joy.
Here is the result of lpstat -d -p:
~$ lpstat -d -p
system default destination: Epson-Stylus-SX130
printer Epson-Stylus-SX130 now printing Epson-Stylus-SX130-32. enabled since Fri 27 Sep 2013 09:31:25 PM IST
Processing page 1...
Running dpkg -l | grep epson-inkjet-printer gave the following:
~$ sudo dpkg -l | grep epson-inkjet-printer
ii epson-inkjet-printer-201101w 1.0.0-1lsb3.2
EPSON Stylus NX130 Series - Epson Inkjet Printer Driver
I've tried deleting the printer, restarting the printer and going through the process again and again but to no avail.
Any help appreciated, if any further information is needed please let me know and I will post it up.
