Epson Stylus CX5900 in Fedora 4

I had a problem making epson cx5900 works in Fedora core 4.
I tried to use pipslite-cups-1.0.2-2.i386.rpm driver that came from this site:

http://www.avasys.jp/english/linux_e/dl_spc.html
Im using cups 1.1.23-15.4.

when i tried to print i got no response and when i view the job status from cups (http://localhost:631) the job is aborted.

Note: The scanner works well with XSane.

Other info:
kernel 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4
pipslite-cups-1.0.2-2.i386.rpm

How can I make this printer works with fedora 4?
Thanks..
