Epson Stylus CX4600

Hi,

I have finally setup SAMBA so that I can access my mom's computer, change her files, and everything under the sun except for print.

I have tried the Stylus CX3200 driver, which is said to work with the CX4600 and the Stylus Photo R300 for my CX4600 printer.

I read somewhere that someone tried the raw driver and at least got output, but when I print something, the host computer doesn't have a clue what is going on. E.g. nothing happens at all.

That printer isn't supported. Sorry.

FYI:
just found out that the new version of gimp-print (now know as gutenprint) includes a driver for the cx4600. It can be found here.

So far the driver works great for me, now I've gotta see if I can get the scanner running....
