Epson Stylus C86 Printing Only Black Block
This is probably more of a general printer issue than a question for a linux forum, but I do run linux and wondered if anyone has ran across this before/would know how to fix this. When I try to print a document (just a .doc file or something), it prints a large, black block where the text should be. I had this same problem over a year ago with this printer in windows, and reinstalling drivers didn't help at all. I've also replaced the ink cartridge. Here's an example page I tried to print:

Epson printers are some of the worst printers sold. This is not a hardware or linux problem. It's an Epson problem. Don't even bother trying to fix it, just throw it away. Do yourself a favor and never I mean never buy an Epson printer again!
