For some reason, the printer has decided to react

(don't ask me why, or what I did).
But now I have a new problem: when I try to print something, the printer eats all the paper in the slot without printing anything (it doesn't even try, it just spills out the paper). After it has done this, it enters the "Not enough paper" state (I have to switch it off and on again).
Strange enough,
escputil -n works flawlessly. Any ideas?
