I will explain my problem shortly:
I have no goddamn idea of how to use a printer under debian? I can't find anything useful on the net, one place talks about ghostscript, one talks about gimp-print, I downloaded gimp-print, I haveno idea how to use it.

I can't find anything that could give me a simple answer: how can I make debian recoqnize the damn printer and print stuff with it? Please help, and don't throw me something like "follow this 40 page tutorial and you'll find out".

I want simple, clear, informative answers, please.
