Thumbs up Epson Perfection V350 Photo scanner isn't recognized in PCLinuxOS

I recently purchased a Epson Perfection V350 Photo Scanner and couldn't get it configured on PCLinuxOS. After hours of frustration and research I was finally able to download and install iScan from This package wouldn't install using KPackage until I checked the "replace files" box. Once I did that iScan installed perfectly. One need to install iScan and the plug-in that goes with it.

I wanted to share this so that anyone else experiencing frustration with Epson scanners will be able to easily and quickly install Epson scanners.
