Epson 3200 Scanner

I'm having a trouble getting this scanner working on ANY system. It worked for many years on Mint with zero issues. Trying to get it going on Windows 10 reveals that there is no driver from Epson for 64-bit Windows. Curious to know what the problem is, and if it is relevant to (any version of) Linux

Dear Pixellany
I have a BearPaw Cu 1200 Mustek with similar issue. It will work only on 32 bits. There are no driver for 64 bits. Sometimes happen in the linux community that the developers does not have the need to find a solution for certain constellation.
To solve this, I have 2 partitions in debian one with 32 bits and the other with 64 bits. When I need to scan or print I log in my 32 bits, when I need to install software that only runs in 64 bits, I log in the other.

Was your Mint 32 or 64 bits?
Regards
T.

pixellany,

According to this blog it is possible to use the epson12181.exe (using W10) for the Epson Perfection 4990:
http://lookslike.ca/2018/getting-our...-on-windows-10

Download the epson12181.exe from:
https://epson.com/Support/Scanners/P...SPT_B11B175012

Select the Windows 10 64-bit driver.
