Either boot messages are off screen or KDE is?

When my system boots the Messages are about 5 millimeters off the screen, when kde is on its not. I can adjust the monitor but then kde is off the screen. Is there a utility that adjusts the screen to sync the startup messages and the GUI?

Sounds like your monitor needs the settings saved for different resolutions not your computer
