Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

eee in Atlanta

I'm wondering where I can find the Asus eee and similar computers in the metro Atlanta area? I would like to be able to actually see and use them in person.

As an aside, I am probably most interested in the eee 901, but the HP looks nice and I think the eee SSDs might be just too small, especially considering how cheap hard drives are and how ridiculously expensive SSDs are, despite their limited benefits (start up speed is nice, but I don't restart my laptop very often. I do always end up filling it up, even with 250GB).

You might want to post this question on the ALE (Atlanta Linux Enthusiasts) email list. See them at www.ale.org.

Lots of questions about computers their have suggested going to Fry's so you may find them there. (One in Alpharetta - I think there is another one as well.) Also MicroCenter in Marietta and Gwinett.

I don't know the answer to your specific question which is why I'm suggesting the Ale mail list.
