Earliest kernel with nforce2?

I don't have access to Fedora 2 just yet so I am going to reinstall RedHat 9 for now. But I would like to know if the 2.4.20-8 kernel that is comes with RH9 contains support for the nforce2 chipset.

Does anyone know if it does have support for it or what is the earliest kernel to have nforce2 built in?

Also, how do I find this info out for myself for future reference.

Many thanks!

I am not sure when the Nforce2 drivers were incorporated, but you may be able to find out by looking at the changelogs for the kernels at http://www.kernel.org. The changelog should reflect added features/drivers etc. It's a start.

Thanks, Pcghost. I did a check and 2.4.26 at least contained nforce2 so I'll get that downloaded. Thanks again.
