Dyncamically Update System BIOS HP Proliant DL385 x86-64

Is it possible to dynamically update the x86 system BIOS via dmidecode, the HP iLO utility (hponcfg) or another tool? System boards have been replaced but serial number was incorrectly set.
Thank you.

I don't know...

I found this which seems to be a BIOS updating utility that works dynamically. I'm guessing at what it does and what you need. More detail would be useful for a more qualified response from a more qualified responder.

It is for some of the DL385 variants, though perhaps not for yours.

Thank you - that looks a utility to flash the firmware. I was hoping to find a utilty to just update the BIOS with serial number type of information.
