dwa-643 expresscard on linux os
2 questions
which linux os is the best for installing the dwa-643 expresscard to use madwifi? also has anyone even gotten this to work? I have been trying hard for the past few days on ubuntu 8.0.4 and I cannot get it to work for the life of me. |
hmmm
Yeah, they have not developed drivers for any of the D-Link air cards for any linux flavor yet... supposedly Atheros is releasing one sometime soon, but there has not been a date set yet. Till then I would suggest getting a cheap USB wireless for your linux boot.
Sorry to disappoint Cheers -Seeds |
I realize this was quite some time ago and more drivers have been released since the first post, but I was able to get the DWA-643 working under Linux Mint 5, which is based off Ubuntu.
