Dvdr Troubles


Hi all today i bought a LG dvdr drive and i install it successfully.Suse 9.1 find it and i configure it throw yast so i wanted to try it.First i tried to burn a cd but it burn it extremely slow with no buffer so i boot in winslows xp and and i burn an another cd with full buffer and fast.Then i tried to burn a dvd+ in Suse but it take 1 hour to burn it(4.1GB)(It burn it with 1x speed).I had installed k3b rpm from http://packman.links2linux.org with it's dependecies but i don't think that it is the problem.Also i thought about scsi-emulation but i am very confused and i don't know what to do.Any help?
