hi,
Some distro's (e.g. SuSE) tampered with the code of cdrecord to make it suitable for DVD. As I see your output it seems this is also the case with your version :
Cdrecord-Clone 2.01a34 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2004 Jörg Schilling
NOTE: this version of cdrecord is an inofficial (modified) release of cdrecord
and thus may have bugs that are not present in the original version.
Please send bug reports and support requests to <cdrtools@packages.debian.org>.
The original author should not be bothered with problems of this version.
I suggest you download the source-code (e.g. from
ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub) and recompile it.
You can also use cdrdao but it's more complicated to use. You can also replace mkisofs : the source-code is in the same package.
Greetings,
Ronald
