dual xeon


After installing RedHat on a dual xeon, how can i tell if it is really using both processors?

Hi c0c0deuz,
There is an X utility called xcpustates, if it's not already on your system, see http://speakeasy.rpmfind.net/linux/r...uery=xcpustate
for your needs.
My dual xeon is in storage, so I don't know if the 'top' command , in the console mode, will show resources used by dual cpu's, but try that also.
