Dual Webcams

I was told that there is a Linux app that allows you to setup atleast 2 USB Logitech webcames to my PC. I am leaving my dog home for the 1st time and would like to monitor him from work via my broadband connection. He thinks he is sneaky creeping up on the couch...

Why would you need more than one for that? He'll probably be fine, and your boss won't approve. "What? Looking at your pathetic puppy and getting paid for it? That's coming out of your paycheck!" Also, what do you use for the one webcam?
