Dual Monitors HOW?

I finally decided to move over to Debian from XP. I want to know how hard it is to get a dual monitor setup and where I can find information on how to do that. I am a newbie to linux so if you could give me a starting point that would be great.

Also anyone put linux on a Compaq tablet with wireless yet? If I like linux as much as my friends say I will, I want to put it on my tablet too.

Thanks
Mark

dual monitor setup is going to depend on your video card - gotta know that before we can really help. ;P

You're going to have to edit XFree86-4.conf for sure. read the man page on that to get a feel for it.

download the README where you downloaded the nvidia drivers at nvidia.com, it has a whole section on "TwinView" that will tell you how to do it.
