Dual Monitor boot problems

My system:
Fedora Core 6
Intel Pentium IV 2.8 ghz CPU
PNY Technologies GeForce 6600 GT
Samsung SyncMaster 930B x2

My problem:
Whenever I try to boot with both moniters plugged in to the card, the computer will run POST and the grub start up manager (thingy), then stop working. The screen with the DVI plug (usually shows up as secondary under windows) reamins black, while the VGA plug turns teal with thin white vertical lines. Eventually, the white lines get wider and the teal turns black with squares of red, white and green rectangles between the white lines in a diagonal pattern.

I would rate myself as Absolute-Ignoramus (Ignorant, not stupid), so please make any suggestions as straight-forward as possible.

Anyone have any ideas?

What level should I be looking at? BIOS, Grub or FC6?
