Dual Head with ATI-Radeon 9600 pro

Hi,

I'm running Fedora Core 3 and would like to get Dual Heads running but am unable to do so for an unknown reason. I tried to install the drivers from ATI's website but it creates a configuration file for Xfree 86 and not Xorg11? I don't know how to get the configuration right. Also the built in system configuration file will let me click ok but won't change a thing to support the dual heads. What do I do? Is there a way to change the Xorg11 config file instead of making an Xfree86 one?

I can't get dual head to work using the ati driver. You have to manually edit the xorg.conf or XF86Config-4 file to be able to do that. I don't know how to do that, but look around.

I got it to work using up2date to manually update the system-display-config file.

Is up2date a fedora core only thing like apt-get?
