Unhappy DTV-2go external TV tuner USB pen

I gather that this does work in linux as I checked it before purchase but most of the articles are in French & don't translate all that well.

My USB ports work fine for external burners, usbdrives, etc. I cannot find a reference to it in the 2.6.18 kernel as a TV card, I believe it can be labelled as a Yamaha or Typhoon card and am checking these out also.

SuSE10 doesn't appear to detect it at all, if I try to install it as a TV card in YaST. I will run dmesg and post later. I'm trying to get it working on a Dell D505 laptop with the latest A10 BIOS. I'm currently on a computer running Fedora Core 5. I will try to see if it works on it also. I have Mplayer working to play DVD and QTime files, also kaffeine. It apparently works with kaffeine.

Just wondering if anyone has one of these and could post how they got it working/detected? I have done the obvious and tried the Addon.com site for linux drivers to no avail. Have a Windows CD with Windows drivers but I don't have Windows on any of my PCs!
Suppose I could try wine (both the non windows emulator and the other stuff).

ANY help appreciated!

Cheers
