Drivers for the Lexmark x4270 Multifunctional

Hi there.

I'm trying to install the Lexmark x4270 Multifunctiona in Slackware 11.0. I googled it for a while and I found that it has no drivers available.

Does anyone have it up -n- running?

Every help is appreciated.

Thanx in advance

Per, that printer unfortunately is a paperweight, ie, totally incompatible with Linux. Realistically the simplest thing to do would be to buy another printer (personally, I'd suggest HP). You might also want to contact Lexmark and ask why they don't offer Linux drivers for their products.

Have you tried using other Lexmark drivers, perhaps one for a similar or earlier model?
