Drivers for CH Flight Sim Yoke

I am trying to run FlightGear and can't seem to get my yoke and pedals working. The problem may be that there are no drivers because although

dmesg | grep Joystick

produces an entry for both devices,

js_demo and fgjs inform me that no joysticks are detected.

Where can I find drivers for these devices? What do I need to do to install them?
