Drivers for Allied Data Tornado 563 external USB modem

Hi. I have an Allied Data Technologies 'Tornado 563' external usb modem that I want to use with Xandros 2.0 but I can't find any drivers anywhere.

Are there any available and where can I get hold of them please ??

I'm also interested in linux drivers for this modem.

I just searched the forums here for other posts regarding the Allied Data Tornado 563 USB modem and came up empty.

The Allied web site offers drivers for only Win98, WinME, WinXP, and Win2000. (Looks like Allied Data Technologies is based in Belgium / Netherlands.)

I was searching for reviews on this modem and came across this posting.

Anyone have any experience/opinions on this modem?

Locally (Toronto, Canada), this modem is selling for around $30 (CAD). I plan to mainly use it under Windows for faxes, but if I can get it to work under Mandrake linux, that would be a great bonus.

Thanks.

Hrm... I think this modem is only USB 1.1 . But then again, 12 Mbps should be plenty for a 56kbps modem...
