Driver installation problems for PCtel modem

Am trying to install drivers for my Conexant HSP56 micromodem .I have managed to download pctel-0.9.7-9-rht-3.tar.gz but during the ./setup I get the error

"searching for kernel includes...** error
could not find any kernel sources in /usr/src"

I have not changed the kernel source since installation where I installed them .

Any suggestions.

you should have a folder called /usr/src/linux which is what the install program is looking for. If you don't, you need to download and install kernel-sources-xxx-xxx.rpm. Make sure that the source is the same version as your kernel, which you can discover by typing "uname -r or -a" in a terminal.
