driver for modem adsl usb

Hello
Recently, I'm using adsl connection. I bought a modem adsl usb
I've read an How-to in hxxp://howtos.linux.com/howtos/Conexant+Rockwell-modem-HOWTO/introduction.shtml , but when I use scanModem program, it said there isn't modem on my computer (I fixed modem into pc). So I don't know my modem is HSF or HCF modem.

I've used Fedora 2
Chipset's modem is Conexant.
Manufacturer is CNet.
Price of modem is about 39$ (in Vietnam)

My modem is HSF or HCF modem ?
And where can I find driver for it ?

Thank for reading.

Hi

I'm pretty sure the scanmodem tool and HCF/HSF drivers are for internal (ie. PCI) dial-up modems. If you could post the chipset/model number of the modem, then I'll see what I can find.

Hope this helps

You mentioned in your original post that the modem is made by CNet, so if you could check the model number of the modem itself, I'll see what drivers I can find

P.S. How do you know it's got a Connexant chipset?
