Driver - Canon Pixma TR4527

Manjaro Linux Budgie DE Dell Inspiron 13 7000

I have searched the other threads on related topics, tried a few suggestions but haven’t found a solution.

System Settings>Printers>Add Printer shows a dialogue box saying “Searching for Drivers” then closes and the Printer window shows this printer as being added and Ready but documents won’t print.

The printer is turned on and connected via USB. Copy function of the printer is working fine.

Assistance appreciated. Thank you.

Someone on the Majaro forum provided the solution. The necessary drivers are in AUR:
