Unfortunately the oficial ATI linux driver for your card and linux version is not available yet (comming soon).
The one that is available right now from
www.ati.com is ATI Linux Driver Version 2.5.1 (check it out):
Xfree86 Version XFree 4.2 Driver Version X4.2.0-2.5.1
glibc 2.2
Try download the Check script and run:
sh Check.sh

Checking which OS you're running...
uname reports 'Linux' version '2.4.20-4GB-athlon', architecture 'i686'.
Object format is 'ELF'.
libc version is '6.3'.
XFree86 Version 4.3.0 is installed.
No package available for glibc 2.3. Try fglrx-glibc22.tgz
Binary package name is 'fglrx-glibc21.tgz'
If the above driver dosn't work you can either use generic radeon driver (supplied with SuSE 8.2 - XFree86 4.3) or downgrade your linux :-(
Have fun :-)
