DRI issues on Suse 9.3 pro for SiS630 chip

Hi all,

i'm having some trouble enabling DRI on my Suse9.3pro install on a celeron 1700 pc with SiS630 gfx chip.

As far as i know, i am doing everything right because i did the same thing on an AMD with S3 ProSavage chip, and everything works fine, using the samen method.

I tried compiling the SiS driver on my AMD box, and this also doesn't seem to work so i guess there is something wrong with the snapshot packages (sis-20050718-linux.i386.tar.bz2 and sis-20050714-linux.i386.tar.bz2)...

The install on the AMD/S3 box was with the savage-20050718-linux.i386.tar.bz2 package...

This is the dri.log from the install.sh script... ->

---

make[1]: *** [modules] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/dripkg/drm/linux-core'

---

I hope someone can help me as this is really driving me insane... but it won't force me to use windows to play games though...
