Good day,

I've been having some issues with getting direct rendering working using an ATI Radeon 7200/r100 board. I've tried some stuff which I'll outline in here for you guys.

I'm running slackware 10.1 on kewrnel 2.6.12.3
I'm running the latest build of x.org (6.8.2)
if it matters, I'm running dropline-gnome (have also kept my updates.. up to date)

Here's what I've tried so far.. I've made sure I have all of the relevant x.org files installed, I've made sure both the "dri" and the "glx" modukes are loading in the xorg.conf file, I'm using the radeon (generic) driver. I can get 3D renering to work, but it looks like it's using software rendering as glxgears is showing in and around 100fps. The output from glxinfo shows:

direct rendering: No
GLX_utah_direct_0_2, GLX_no_accel

I've tried loading the xorg modules from the DRI website and still no luck, I can't seem to get direct rendering working. I'll include the output of lsmod, and my xorf.conf file. If you need any other information, please let me know.
