Downloads Stalling
 

I would've put this in the Fedora section (I'm using FC5 i386) but I've had this same problem using different distributions.

I'm trying to do some updates and installations with yum but typically it times out and never finishes. Only very small files are actually retreived. Using wget I can't download very much before it stalls indefinitely. However, I haven't had any kind of problem downloading files using firefox.

u can try apt-4 rpm
