Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Post Downloading pictures from Finepix A200

I have a Fujifilm Finepix A200 and I'm trying to download the pictures onto my computer. I have tried to set up my camera as a peripheral but I can't find my camera on the list. I tried to find any other Fujifilms but all Fujifilms on the list are serial except for one which I have tried and did not work. Is there a way I can add drivers for my camera to the list or is there a program that has my camera supported.
Thanks

I got it working but without the software. When I plug my camera in it acts as a USB drive. I plugged in my camera, right clicked on the desktop, went into add new drive and found it on the list. Now if I need to download pictures I go into that icon and cut and paste the pictures into the directory I want them in.
