Does Hardware RAID work on an ASUS MOBO M2NPV-WM CSM?

Has anyone successfully installed hardware RAID on a system with dmraid support? The system I have has an ASUS motherboard M2NPV-WM CSM and is supposed to support hardware RAID, but I have no evidence that this is so. Tanks for any help or guidance!

I Can assure you that unless you are using an Adaptec or IBM Raid card

the onboard Sata / IDE on this Mobo isnt hardware raid
it's software raid and you will need to use special windows drivers to use it.
and linux doesnt have drivers to read NVIDIA Raid.
How you can build software raid in linux that is equal to that the BIOS on your MOBO provides.
you can even create Raid across different controllers
