Does FC5 support Intel D2 (Dual Core) processor

Hello folks,

At present, I have FC4 working with a P4 processor.

I am thinking of upgrading to Intel D2 (Dual Core) processor.

Does the FC5 support Intel Dual Core processor. I guess D2 would be backward compatible. But I am curious to know whether FC5 would harness the full capabilities of D2.

Thanks,

Prabhat Soni

What the devil is a D2?

Anyway any X86 CPU works with any Linux or Windows
The better question is
"Are the key mainboard components supported?"
IDE Sata USB NIC etc
