Wink Does Debian 4.0R1 has full support for Intel Q35 Express?

I have just booked a Dell Optiplex 755 which equiped with a Q35 motherboard. I don't know does Debian 4.0R1 has the full support for the motherboard?

Will I have problems with the sata controller, the X3100 embedded video controller, or other device come with the motherboard when I install Debian Etch?

Something like this:

Do not expect everything to work out of the box. Expect trouble with onboard (fake) RAID. AFAIK: everything can be got going - this is a 100% intel board, and pretty new. So disable the raid in bios and use linux software raid. Everything else works out of the box with Ubuntu 7.10 so the latest Debian, properly configured, should be a doddle.

You may want to try the installer here if the kernel on the official Debian one does not find the SATA controller or other devices on the board.
