Does anyone know howto disable a keyboard?
 

I have just bought a remote control on which get interpreted by the kernel as a keyboard. Basically what i want to do is to keep the /dev/input/event* so i can use the remote with lirc. But i don't want the remote to act as a keyboard.

Does anyone know how to achieve this? Please let me know.

It might be handled by udev, depending on the type of keyboard. Have a look at
